BTNEP uses only native plant species for our restoration projects.

The suite of species selected and used is dependent on the habitat to be restored. Both woody and herbaceous species are collected and grown out for use in restoration projects implemented on ridges, marshes, swamps, forests, maritime forests, shorelines, beaches, and dunes.

These native plants are important for habitat restoration.
